Privacy policy
This page explains how BY MAXTRADE d.o.o. handles the personal data you entrust to us through the website maxtrade.si. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
Controller
The controller of personal data is BY MAXTRADE d.o.o., Cesta Zore Perello-Godina 2, 6000 Koper, Slovenia (registration no. 9097686000, VAT ID SI73817236). For questions about privacy, write to export@maxtrade.si.
What data and why
We process personal data only when you give it to us or when you visit the site:
- Enquiry form. Company name, contact number, e-mail address and the text of your message. We use them solely to reply to your enquiry and to prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
- WhatsApp. The “Open WhatsApp chat” button opens a chat with our number with a first message already written; it includes any text you have already typed into the form. You send the message yourself. The conversation then runs through WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms; we see your phone number and the content of the messages.
- E-mail. If you write to us by e-mail, we use your address and the content of the message to reply.
- Technical visit data. The site is hosted by an external hosting provider, which may temporarily log the IP address and technical data of requests for security and operation.
Who receives the data
The message from the form is delivered to our e-mail address through the Web3Forms service (an online forms provider). We do not pass data to anyone else unless the law requires it. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards in line with Chapter V of the GDPR.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising and does not include external analytics tools. Fonts and scripts are loaded from our own server, so visiting the site makes no connection to Google or other third parties. If we introduce analytics or similar tools in the future, we will first show a notice and ask for your consent.
How long we keep data
We keep data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship. After that we delete or anonymise it, unless the law (for example accounting or tax rules) requires longer retention.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Send your request to export@maxtrade.si. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.
If you believe the processing does not comply with the rules, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page.
